Each class is tough. We won't lie. Our goal is to put together a tough workout that challenges the body. This challenge is what the body needs to make changes... be it lose fat or strengthen the muscle.
There is a reason that professional athletes have trainers. They need someone to tell them they "can do it" when their body and mind start saying that they can't. Studies have shown that it's not so much the work of doing a workout that gives one success in health; it's pushing themselves after they feel like they can't. It is this point when the body realizes that it needs to make change (get stronger). Our trainers are taught to not take "no". They are trained to help you to achieve what you thought was unattainable!
While I wasn't looking to be stronger, their staff showed me that being stronger actually helps me to lose the weight I have always wanted to loose
Look, exercise is not meant to be easy. Shoot, if it was easy, everyone would do it. And frankly if it was easy, you aren't going to get the results you want. Because our training format is built on a team/group model, our members find that the energy/team spirit enables them to push through even the toughest workouts. Accomplishing more than they every could on their own. This "team" experience helps all our members conquer the "mountain" (the workout)and build great bonds other members. This is evident as on any given day you will see a group of people sitting in a circle as they do some final stretching, bonding on the tough workout and getting to know each other.

Often we will hear people say that they don't want to "get bigger" or put on muscle. So they are hesitant to do a program that has a mix of cardio and strength building. Studies have shown, though, that when someone becomes stronger, they actually burn more calories... which will lead to the potential of burning more fat! Additionally, most women, will never get that "bulky" look unless they'd purposely trained for it AND had a diet designed for muscle mass gain.
