The single biggest problem with most peoples workout is boredom. It gets boring to just sit there and lift weights or to do the same routine. Even the best classes can get boring. More importantly, the body learns our routines and tends to "settle in". It is at this point when many people become discouraged (because they stop losing weight or don't see any new results) and they stop working out all together. What science has showed is that the body likes to be regularly "shocked", and this is what cross training was really meant to be (not to be confused with CrossFit).
